Setup A New Account - Microsoft
Windows Mail 6.0
Open Microsoft Windows Mail 6.0.
At the top of the page click on
the Tools menu
and then select Accounts.
> Tools> Accounts

Select the account type Email
Account and click Next.
|
|
|
Your Name
Enter your name here.
Click Next.
|
|
|
Internet E-mail address
This is where you type in your
Domain email address.
Replace with: youremail@yourdomain.com
Click Next.

E-mail Server Names
Enter your Incoming and
Outgoing mail server.
Make sure you have POP3
selected for the incoming mail server
type.
Incoming mail (POP3):
pop.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:
smtp.yourdomain.com
Check box for My outgoing
server requires authentication.
Click Next.

Internet Mail Logon
Enter your Account name
(Email address) and Webmail
password.
Account Name:
youremail@yourdomain.com
Password:
Enter your Webmail password
here..
Click Next.

Congratulations
Click Finish. You
have successfully configured your
WebMail account into POP mail
|

|
Go to the Tools
menu, click Accounts.
You should see your new account
listed here. Select your account
and click on the Properties
button.
> Tools > Accounts
> Properties

|
Change the Outgoing Mail (SMTP)
port number to 587. Click
Okay then Close.
NOTE: Should you encounter problems
with sending email out using smtp.yourdomain.com,
you may be required to use your
ISP's smtp server. Please refer
